All natural anti-flea shampoo made with water, olive oil, Castile soap, and doTERRA essential oils (peppermint and rosemary).

I thought we were out of the woods after the the warm weather went away, so I let up on all my natural flea prevention, until one day I noticed one of our dogs energetically scratching himself. It can’t be. Sure enough, both my dogs had fleas.

I knew which essential oils are good to combat fleas because I researched the topic for my post on flea prevention I published last year, so I concocted this shampoo. It really works! The proof is in the pudding, throughout the week after using this shampoo I kept brushing my dogs fur with a fine comb  and kept finding dead fleas!

All-natural anti-flea dog shampoo

• 1/2 cup water (preferably distilled)
• 1/3 cup pure castille soap (I used this one)
• 1 tsp olive oil (find it here)
• 20 drops of pure essential oil. I used 10 rosemary and 10 peppermint

Combine all ingredients using a small funnel (find it here), shake well before each use. It should keep for about 6 month.
